Tell us the exact model/make of the motherboard and CPU at least which
will really help. Your new PC is probably equipped with an UEFI
interface instead of an old fashioned BIOS and you'll likely need to
configure that before you can boot from USB. Unless of course you just
installed Linux from USB yourself.
What are the specs anyway? I seriously doubt there's anything wrong with
your system, it's just initial setup glitches so don't despair...
