Good grief, that's going to be a bit cheap and nasty and the plastics will be just horrible, but... at that price, that's a *lot* of laptop. I'm almost tempted to buy one for a "just in case" machine. I could let the nieces and nephews muck around with it and play games and not worry about it getting dropped or covered in kid stuff (chocolate, vomit, fingerprints). It's a lot more money, but this is probably about the best single laptop on the market at the moment: http://www.dell.com/uk/p/xps-13-9343-laptop/pd It's the cheaper consumer version of the Precision I've got - it's really small, very powerful and has a great screen. It's not particularly cheap, but it is good value for money especially compared to roughly equivalent Macs. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
