I've only ever experienced three routers; A NetGear, a ZyXel and this
Technicolour. I found the NetGear the easiest to deal with, by far.

I got lucky; The guy that built the house I live in (a converted
milking shed) fitted plastic pipe between floors to feed telephone
cables through (1) . It came in very handy for feeding ethernet cable
through, too. As a result, we're all wired here. Wireless would be a
dead loss with 2-3ft thick walls.

(1) It was about the only good thing he did, the renovation was done on
the cheap. All the windows and doors had to be replaced because they
weren't fitted correctly. As a result, the place was like a wind tunnel.
