In my (admittedly limited) experience from an electronic PoV, they're pretty much of a muchness. Where things differ is in the mechanical aspects; Some devices fit more snugly than others, meaning they're less prone to suffer momentary loss of contact which can result in data corruption or loss. Such a phenomenon may be rare amongst USB devices, but is more noticeable with other connector types (SD cards, etc.) when it's sometimes difficult to get the card recognised, due to having poor electrical contact. -- Regards _ / ) "The blindingly obvious is / _)rad never immediately apparent" Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty Paradise City - Guns 'N' Roses
