Yeah, I misread and/or misunderstood what you wrote.  I came to the
conclusion that the customer has to be in the US, but that wouldn't have
to be the case.

I don't see why 'everybody' seems to think 'the cloud' is so effing
wonderful.  To me, it smacks of going back to the 60s and 70s when most
computing was done via thin clients because storage, processing and
memory were so mind-numbingly expensive.  Plus (of course) everything you
said and the fact that any of the providers can turn around at any point
and say "We're shutting up shop now.  Tough.  Deal with it."  Of course,
you (and I) would have back ups available....
