I remember installing 3D drivers back then and further... You had to go to init 1 and install from there only. I'm sure you are aware of all that so I won't waist my breath or your time.

Yeah, forgot to mention that more modern Nvidia hardware is definitely
better supported and your 560ti is a lot newer than the troublesome
hardware we're coming across (7800GT, 8800GTS, 7025).
