[LUG] newbie exeter lug - apple iphone 4s problem

my sister who lives in paignton wants me to get her iphone working with her linux mint 13 laptop , problem is she away on holiday and phone is going.

So i will bring her laptop and hope that somebody got a iphone we can test it with and get it working on the laptop , she wants to be able to transfer music on to it.

Has anyone tried OSX on virtualbox and will be able too communicate with the iphone 4s via usb and have itunes do updates etc on it??

i did put windows 2003 on virtual box for her but it not supporting itunes for that job or latest version etc

I will be going to the pi jam at library on saturday as well.
