Anyone using Linux Mint Debian Edition?
I've had this before on regular Mint, IIRC it was due to a package being updated and it taking a little while to sync across to all the mirrors.
I've been getting this error for
several days now:
W: Failed to fetch
http://lmde-mirror-fr-1.wedrop.it/latest/security/dists/testing/updates/main/binary-i386/Packages
403 Forbidden
Nothing on the webs except (what looks like) a single report of the same
issue on a Mint user forum with no direct replies (it's in French).
You can change your mirror server easily by running the command:
mint-choose-debian-mirror
(I can't remember if it's installed by default, this blog says make sure it's installed... http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=2254).
IIRC it pings the various mirrors and chooses the fastest mirror, I think it's possible to override the automatic choice too. Maybe that might work.
