This is going to need some kind of multiple AP setup. No single access
point is going to be able to handle several hundred clients. Assume
that every guest has at least two wireless devices. (More if they have
brought both personal and work devices with them.)

There are two obvious issues here. The first is how will it be
possible for every possible configuration of device to enter any data?
(Or how can I, as a sysadmin, allow my users to be able to do this
without also allowing them unfiltered web access on work laptops?)
The second is that you can't trust user provided data from someone who
is dishonest. Thus it makes more sense to link the "password" to the
booking or how the room was paid for.

Hope this young man falls into "too smart to still be at secondary
school". This may even be somewhat beyond GCE "A-level".
