Given the times, it seems to tie in quite nicely with
peak time. Possible contention problem?
Does your router drop sync when it happens, or is it
just 'the internet' that goes?

It disconnects me completely - if I reboot the rooter the DSL comes
up but I don’t get an IP from the provider. Doesnt sount like
contention to me!
