There is a specific place on the DCGLUG website for members to advertise their services. Outside of that, I do not think it is appropriate.

It would be considered somewhat rude if you went to a communal place where there was a given table in which you were encouraged to put your business materials and instead (or as well) you went around putting your leaflets on peoples' laps.

Please be aware that, should the management of DCGLUG website deem your avatar inappropriate for whatever reason it can, and will, be deleted.

I am also advised that the LUG is not to be used for personal gain.

This raises some questions in my mind about the services section of the site. If we are allowed to advertise on the site what format should it take and should there be some level of moderation?

Thoughts?
