I can recommend FreePBX and specifically freedoh.net as an installer, mainly as I am part of test and dev team for both.

as for clients, csipsimple for asterisk.

Is probably one of the better ones out there, but it's a complete 'distro' in its own right.

FreePBX is really just a set of web based wrappers round Asterisk which PIAF uses, along with other "stuff".

I didn't use any of them for my implementation, but wrote it all from scratch. Might even publish it one day...

Thanks Gordon, I'll have a look at PBX In A Flash, I'd just like to find something simple to play with so it might be just what I'm looking for.  I wouldn't know where to start otherwise so I don't think I'd be able to build something from scratch :-)

Now I just need to find some clients for Android and Windows Phone :-)
