My daughter used to share my desktop as a separate user. Recently she had a birthday and a new laptop (thanks dad!). Since we use IMAP for email she has not lost any history there. But now I need to transfer whatever other files she wants from the desktop to the laptop. These two computers obviously share the same router, albeit my desktop using a cable, and her laptop using wifi. I realise that I could copy the relevant files to a memory stick as a method of transfer. I also realise that I could set up teamviewer and use that, which seems a bit OTT for a few files. So I am asking if there are simpler programs or methods to do this, as a one off. I have looked around Google but am becoming a bit confused now.
