Quite possibly, perhaps it's time to re-think... Data carried over the wires are not going to get smaller with the average web-page now being close to 1MB - even flashblock in the browser will eventually not make much difference...
I've just checked out stats - quite surprised - my peak usage (8am-8pm) is averaging 25GB a month... Actually, I'm very surprised at that. Need to check - but it's probably bittorrent & uknova (although it's throttled down to next to nothing through the day) but I know my wife does watch a few things on iPlayer and listen-again... (off-peak 3 times that, but it's overnight backups, etc.)
