Which I'm guessing will still be true till they drop support.

I have to say that I've never actually used ReiserFS - it never struck me as something worthwhile when ext3 was just round the corner (at the time)... I did try XFS and got severely burnt with it and the attitudes of those on the XFS mailing list sucked IMO too, so I dropped that as soon as ext3 was looking vaguely stable.

Actually, I remember another reason now - I was using 'dump' to backup filesystems to tape - ext2/3 and XFS supported dump but Reiser didn't.

All my new servers are now using ext4 and I've not had an issue yet. (Other than whinging at the cost last week when I bought some new drives!!!)
