My kids primary is using it in year 5 after I installed it on their

IIRC there is a 'follow-on' - GREENFOOT which teaches Java using similar

Do you know of any good tutorials for Scratch such as a getting started guide?

Rob

As Paul stated, there are basic guides, videos etc on the website.. .

The kids I've seen using have just picked it up and ran with it having viewed the tutorials, guides and played around with/modified other peoples shared projects.. some have even used it with Lego's WeDo kit - which has a very similar 'programming' interface.

Everyone who has used it seems to have really enjoyed it.
