Is my memory playing trix on me or is there a way to share a keyboard/mouse with multiple computers so I can have two machines that look vaguely like a dual monitor setup but are in fact separate.
And can it work on a windows/linux setup as a freind would like that?

i think you need a kvm switch

hope this helps

I thought there was a bit of software that worked ala a two monitor setup - moving the mouse off the left of the rh screen passed control to the lh computer and visa-versa. No switch required - the 'master' computer feed the mouse/keyboard to the other(s) once configured. Thought it was mentioned on this list but could be my memory playing dixie with me.

Doh - its synergy (mentioned towards the bottom of the kvm article!
