Re: [LUG] External hard drives

 

The ony one I had problem with was on Linpus (Acer Linux netbooks) not being able write to ntfs, there was a download avaible to correct this. Other wise I have never had any problems writing to exteral hard drives.

These days linux can read and write virtually any file system this
includes NTFS (windows)  which version of linux are you using as that
defines howto reformat to ext3 or 4
