I did try it but I got into a major tangle with the RPM based
packaging system - couldnt install a bluetooth manager because of
dependancy hell.

It was low-level bluetooth stack dependancies, so nothing would work,
and the more i tried to untangle it by installing the libs
independantly, the worse it got. In the end I wiped it and went back
to Mint on that machine.
