The Adobe Flash installer is in Debian contrib
 aptitude install flashplugin-nonfree
update-flashplugin-nonfree --install

You may have to mess around with audio config depending on your audio
configuration, I didn't last couple of times I've done it.

I found Java runtime packages didn't play with each other in quite the same way if you upgraded from Lenny, which I "accidentally" resolved by removing unused Java packages.

Ahh thanks for that Simon, it's handy to know as I'm so used to it being pre-installed in Mint or offered up when you need it on Ubuntu. I think I ought to put together a machine to run Debian on so I can get used to the few differences (at least with having experience of Ubuntu it's not as much of a change as say going to Fedora or Gentoo).
