Personally I prefer my Linksys router running dd-wrt (have two of them 
now, one router and one wireless access point running a highly cut down 
dd-wrt).  They're quiet, simple, run Linux, and have more than 1 network 
port (okay the WAP doesn't that's just got a single port).  Works lovely 
and both units cost me under £20 each.
