Am I wrong? > > Neil The terms are quite subjective. To my mind the idea of 'laptop' is essentially a mobile computer with a keyboard with full-size keys (ie not PDA or phone style keys). This category then gets broken down further according to roughly screensize into: Desktop Replacements - around 17" Notebooks - around 13"-15" Netbook - 12" or smaller Those weird devices with 4" screens are, to my mind, more akin to PDAs than laptops.
