How would mplayer do such a thing? I've been trying to save the Xmas Lecture streams without success,
Use the -dumpfile option. The tricky part was finding the URL - I played the clip in realplayer off the site, then used the Clip Info option to view the URL, which I then had to type into the mplayer command-line as it wouldn't let me copy & paste it.
Commandline magic to the rescue... Gordon -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
