I have just had a thought. The Jobcentre is basically pushing me to do some 'Voluntary Work' (which to them means Work Experience no matter what) and the Lighthouse needs some extra help. The people the Jobcentre referred me to are useless, and sent me somewhere both not relevant and not actually having room for anyone, so I was thinking, if I can get my adviser to OK it, I could possibly volunteer to help out with the project.
If it/LUG is a registered charity its a bonus because then I dont need to ask, its how I used to work at Dtech as a techie.
What do you guys think? Could you make use of me? Noting I'm a student right now so the hours I'm available wont be so flexible in the week...
