I'm actually quite tempted to try emailing them the photos as this might
be a little more fire and forget.



You can ftp to Photobox.

If you go looking for more professional labs, they will accept a structured CD, or ftp, so you can hand them the whole lot.
Arranged in directories named for the size of print you want.

But you have to get that right before sending, there isn't the opportunity to crop and frame on their  equipment.
For bulk that may be what you want.
