" Usually the easiest solution to grub loader issues like this is to boot from a CD mount all the relevant partitions in a folder (/mnt/root) so the paths will be correct when you chroot to it, then chroot ( chroot /mnt/root /bin/bash). Then you can use the usual tools, or commands to straighten it out. In the old grub this was "install-grub" but I can't find the box I stuck grub2 on to check if it changed.
