yes a 1TB on the same controller card.

seems i need the model number so i'll try that when i can be bothered to pull the drive out. It's a bit spagetti in there.You could also be worth downloading the Samsung drive diagnostics (I believe they generally have an ISO available) and test the drive to confirm it isn't faulty.
