As far as I know, it's no more than FUD.  If there _is_ a contract which
stipulates this it 1) is almost certainly illegal (or should be!) and 2)
 can probably be treated as void on grounds of unconscionablility.  That
is, a person knowing that the contract included this effect could not in
conscience agree.
