This article looks at schools needing to save 2 billion a year. Just
wondered how to go about a FOIA request to determin how much is spent on
ICT per annum for software, so we could work out if OSS can do a better
/ cheaper job.

This may be worth looking in to

Daily mail issue aside,
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1216583/Ed-Balls-spends-3m-office-makeover--including-massage-room-Muslim-prayer-area.html

looks like we can start by not having MP's who can afford to spend 3
million on offices, but want to slash school budgets and staff.

it shows how out of touch our MP's are,
Its good to know that Nu Labour will be sent to /dev/null at the next
Yup - but consider it to be more of a new MS 'upgrade' - looks shiny and fast when it comes out and eventually you realise its actually worse. Politics is a bit like football. Your team may be at the bottom of the league on the way out but you still think its the best team in the world. Give up sides, look at issues, look forward to the revolution. Theres a slim chance I might see democracy in my lifetime!!!
