Hi Austin,

I have installed Dans Guardian a couple of times in the past. From what
I remember on Ubuntu and Debian, when you install Dansguardian it also
installs and configures Squid for you. You'd have to make some changes
to the Dansguardian config file (I believe it's either
/etc/dansguardian.conf or /etc/dansguardian/dansguardian.conf) as you'll
need to specify what to block (I believe there are free blocklists
available which block various types of sites).

With regards to moving the log files to another partition, I believe it
is a simple config file change, but if you can't find anything, I'd say
create an empty file where you want them to go and create a link in the
/var/log folder to replace the original log files, then any logs should
be saved to the new location.

Hope this helps anyway.

Ta,

Rob
