Anyone using ext4 yet?Building a new server for a client and am thinking about it - it all seems well supported in Debian Lenny and the 2.6.29 kernel. Probably no advantage over ext3 for this application, but it might be good to eek every ounce out of the disks (it's going to be a busy little LAMP box)
Incidentally - the disk are WDC 640GB dual platter jobbies. Very fast for a 7200 RPM drive - relatively cheap too! (£45) I'm seeing transfers of over 110MB/sec out of a single drive.
