Hi Guys I have a computer that is bsod on a fairly regular basis now. The error code I am getting is: Event Type: Warning Event Source: MRxSmb Event Category: None Event ID: 3019 Date: 18/02/2009 Time: 13:15:01 User: N/A Computer: NEW3-DDNDRL1J Description: The redirector failed to determine the connection type. After trawling the net and reading a variety of posts it seems it could be a memory problem and to run something called memtest86. I am wondering whether it is possible to do this through Linux please and whether anybody has an idea for a live disk that can help with diagnosing faults like this please? -- Kind regards Rich http://www.cregy.co.uk Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
