Not suggesting we hold a LUG meet here, but just mentioning it as a potential place to meet for people in the area ... Endsleigh Garden Centre near Ivybridge on the A38. The cafe area is big enough to absorb a small number of people having a meeting, and you get free Wi-Fi - BUT you need to buy something (and who would go there for a meeting without buying a cup of coffee?) and you get half an hour's access every time you buy something, but you need to ask for a ticket - they don't give them away. And you have the choice of their own coffee or Starbucks if you like that sort of thing.
