Re: [LUG] Architects drawings..

Wow something i can actually help with ;) normally i am on the side lines as a student, but now it is i who has the knowledge! mahaha. my first question is are you after something specifically for running on linux or are we including leopard and windows?

I have been studying architecture on and off for the last 6 years (depending on the situation) and have used a variety of programs. the crux of it is most of them are windows based with the expensive commercial ones also being available on the mac. I am not sure about linux availability - i am sure i heard of at least one program - i will try to find out which!

If it to use for yourself and you have no previouse expeirience definately firstly try gogle sketchup - its free as well
