ifdown ra0
ifconfig ra0 hw ether 00:11:22:33:44:55
and
wlanconfig destroy ra0
macchanger -mac 00:11:22:33:44:55 wifi0
wlanconfig ra0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode managed
both seem to immediately revert back to the original mac - I've read suggestions
that sometimes macs are copied into a register and this can then overwrite a new mac
but the details are hard to find.
