I changed the (kubuntu) UUID to agree with the entry in the ubuntu fstab
(which repartitioned sda6 and created sda7 to give the ubuntu install a
home partition) and get the same error. I notice that the moint point is
given as /media/sda6 when the mounted disk (viewed from kubuntu)
has /media/disk-1. Is this a possible cause of the inability to resolve
the UUID?
