Hi all Does any one have an insight using VNC on Fedora 8? I have Via system, preferences, internet&network, Remote Desktop set up for VNC on the local nw and it runs fine but with the current user's Desktop shared out. I have punched a VNC hole in my Router and can again do VNC from "the real world" but again with the current users desktop. Being greedy I would like to have "outside" users logon to a pre-named desktop which is not currently showing Are the users of VNC the same as in local users? I don't have an /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file and no VNC service is running! so do I need to load a VNC module for X then configure it there?
