Got my registration forms in the post today. Tried to register online at www.registerbyinternet.com Predictably, the site fails with Firefox. With IE I get the login screen which asks for x2 security codes (both of which were supplied to me on the same piece of paper - what's that all about?). On clicking through I get the cryptic "Unexpected error occured ! Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster." Since they're aspx pages I guessing this is an IIS site. Oh well. more of my tax-paying money down the drain. Annoying really since I'm sure I could have knocked up something more reliable on LAMP in a couple of hours...
