My girlfriend initially had problems with the AR5007, but the Madwifi patch fixed it. If that's what you used to fix it, you'll need to relink it with the kernel after every kernel update, a simple script does the job.

Got it working! There was a new Madwifi HAL released not long ago... I
got a copy of the lastest and installed it and BOOM my wireless works
under Penguin Power.

*sigh of relief*

Now I can get on with ignoring Vista. Yay! :)
