My partner uses Ubuntu 7.10 and for reading pdfs the system defaults to "Evince". 
Evince is I am sure a great program BUT when using it I cannot print the pdf. The 
command print is used but nothing shows in CUPS

If she (I) open the file with xpdf then printing is no problem

How can I change the default for opening pdfs so that xpdf is used rather than 
evince?

Any help would be much appreciated
