The link I sent (by accident) normally opens up the BBC media player - which never seems to work, I then click on 'Launch in stand alone player' which gets me up into RealPlayer. If your locking up I suggest you look at your plugins ( config:plugins) and see if everything there is setup ok? Having said that I always get much poorer performance than viewing on my daughters wk2 machine. But then most of the Beebs offerings are pretty poor.
