Urmm...I've got a feeling that network manager 0.7 has planned support
for these kinds of devices. Try this page as a starting point for
finding more details:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/FeatureNetworkManager

If I'm right, then when 0.7 is stable it will make it super easy to use
these!
