Channels in the incorrect order is normally due to low received signal strength. Until the switchover digital transmitters will operate on low power so as not to interfere with analogue signals so you will need a large multi element aerial. At the moment received signal strength will vary from area to area even within cities eg. when I lived in Stoke in Plymouth a indoor set aerial was ample for all channels yet in Peverell even a large aerial was barely adequate. Use the digital predictor at: http://www.wolfbane.co.uk/ to check the transmitter power for the various multiplex channels in your area and note that some multiplexes are sometimes as low as 1KW. Incidentally I now live 8 miles from Whitehaven in Cumbria which went totally digital in October. Once the digital transmitter went to full power there were few complaints.
