For instance companies who buy a bulk load of PCs from the likes of Dell which have an licence installed and then replace it with a software assurance copy of the software. I was trying to think what I could ask for a refund for but I haven't actually bought anything recently that has M$ software pre-installed that I don't use. There is my other half's laptop which has XP Home but she refuses blankly to move over to Linux, and I refuse blankly to install anything other than Linux on her desktop (I aint paying £50 for Vista, I wouldn't even install a free copy!). I think the only PC I have now with an M$ licence attached is an old IBM Aptiva P2-266 which has Windows 95. Hey, thats an idea, I wonder if I can get a refund for the Windows 95?
