Such a page could maybe have links to install guides and other resources. Certainly makes it easier to find things for newbies who don't know where to look. Rob I expect I've got the wrong end of the wrong stick here... is this DCGLUG cooking it's own Linux distrubution ?. I thought I'd ask cos I thought even if this thread isn't about this prehaps it could be fun to make a DCGLUG Linux anyway.
