Hi All, Those with really long memories will recall that the really major hurdlle to me adopting Linux 100% over Windows was video capture. After a couple of false starts I now have the above card installed. It has a BT878 chip which I know is pretty standard and Xandros does recognise it as a TV capture card. I have the application TVTime installled to view output from it. At the moment when I run the app it says 'No Signal' even though dual booting to Windows shows there is a signal present. Obviously I need to install and configure some packages to make it work. Among other things this link - http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linux/kernel/535271 - seems to suggest a patch is needed for the VC100 to work properly. However the posting assumes knowledge I do not have, e.g. exactly what I'm supposed to be patching and how. Could someone please tell me what packages I should have installed, and what I need to do with the above patch?
