Yea this is a really cool solution, I have done it with qemu and I
have a modest spec system but it was quite usable. The really nice
thing is that if i want windows I start it from my KDM login screen by
logging in as "windows", if i need to switch back to linux its just
ctrl+alt+F7 away. Networking the VM was a bit of a fight. But its well
worth the effort.
