You're presumably talking digital.  The problem with that is that as a 
friend recently told me, you don't get *anything* unless you are smack 
on the signal.  Unlike analogue where you get a bad signal when you are 
a bit of and it gets progressively better.  That's why Sky Digital 
installers get to charge so much.

The German channels are *probably* analogue.
