Yes, but don't expect the handy backup utilities or any other software that comes with them to work. Also don't be surprised if the actual usable size in real GB differs from what it says on the box. I recently got a HP store & Save 320GB drive for 70 quid from pcworld which was quite cool, external power, fast and quiet, but needs foam inserts or something to stop the desk vibrating.
