[LUG] Switching to Debian

Hi

After learning of the most recent spitting in the face of Debian by Shuttleworth and his crew, viz., renaming the xorg packages to break Debian compatibility, as well as including non-essential proprietary drivers by default in Feisty (which I wholly oppose), I am going to be switching to Debian Testing as soon as I can get to grips with it in QEMU.

Does anyone have some repositories to recommend, or similar? I note that deb's free/contrib/non-free complement comprises of about 3k packages less than Ubuntu's, so presumably those are either migration packages for the latest useless kernel rename or packages that are missing in Debian.
